While zone forecasts covering defined areas are already available via the NOAA OFFPZ7 and the s/v Sarana Report, I personally find the prose format difficult to scan, especially when reading over the air. So, I wrote a program to parse the information and present it in an easy-to-scan table format. However, since the program makes assumptions about the format of the original sources, it could fail miserably if the format is changed. So, if the table doesn’t look right, it’s best to go back to the original sources.
Additionally, we offer a pure text format that is useful for saildocs. This format filters out some of the non-relevant text, making it actually a bit smaller than the combination of the original sources.
